A Western Zhou bronze, taken when the Yuanmingyuan (Old Summer Palace) was sacked in 1860, has been returned to Beijing, writes Laura Chesters.
The bronze was sold by Canterbury Auction Galleries in April this year for £410,000 (plus premium), to a phone bidder.
