More than £1,000 raised at Tarbert coffee morning

A COFFEE morning at the Templar Hall, Tarbert, raised £1,045 for charities Parkinson’s UK and Myaware.

Tarbert locals flocked to the hall for freshly-baked cakes and a cuppa, with raffle prizes and competitions including guess the weight of a chocolate cake.

The coffee morning was planned to raise funds for both charities before Kenny MacNab set off on his Kintyre Way walk.
