Nearly 50 riders will by taking part in a new cycling challenge on Arran later this month to raise money for the charity arm of a top Scottish football club.
The Rangers Charity Foundation raises funds to support causes which support and make a significant impact on the community, including the Glasgow Children’s Hospital, the Beatson Cancer Charity and Unicef. Three local supporters will be taking part in the challenge of the 55-mile loop around the island, which takes place on Saturday March 25. The event will be led by former Rangers defender John ‘Bomber’ Brown.
Local volunteers will also help the foundation to provide support vehicles, snack and water stops, and lunch for the riders.
