WE are used to seeing Christine Ohuruogu run well outside her British record early-season, but the 2008 Olympic and twice world champion over 400m has a knack of hitting top form when it counts.
She was then understandably laid back about her time of 52.40, which left her only third Brit and fifth overall.
“I just wonder whether I’m a bit tired. I felt very heavy legged,” said a smiling Ohuruogu after the race, though she joked she was not looking forward to seeing her coach, Lloyd Cowan.
