PREPARING FOR HIS ROLE in the premiere of Kevin Elyot’s final play, Adam Garcia is mulling over his career to date and declares: “I’ve played a lot of gay parts, come to think of it, and hopefully I do them justice.”
Not that Adam, who was Emun Elliott’s on-screen boyfriend in Threesome and Daniel Evans’ on-stage lover in Where Do We Live, is revealing if the dual characters he’s playing in Twilight Song are gay, straight or somewhere in between. “ Sex to them is a tool,” he teases, reluctant to give away the play’s secrets. “ Kevin is such a clever writer and, I guess because he worked so much on Agatha Christie [dramas], everything is a reveal and I don’t want to ruin it for the audience.”
