Your training is only ever going to be as effective as the fuel you use. Supplements are a great way to get more from your training, but they should accompany a healthy, balanced diet — not be a substitute for it. Throughout my career, I picked up some food tricks to help me maximise every session.
SPICE AND SEASON, DON’T SAUCE Something our favourite diver Mr. Daley also pointed out recently: sauces are full of hidden non-essential carbs and fats. Instead, use spices such as turmeric and ginger for tackling inflammation, garlic for a boost to your immune system, and cayenne chili to fire up your metabolism.
