VIETNAM AIRLINES invited representatives of the UK travel trade to its headquarters in Hanoi to discuss its plans to launch Boeing 787-9 services from Gatwick Airport to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City next year. From July 2015, the carrier will become the first to use the extended variant of the Dreamliner from Gatwick, with London being selected as the initial international destination from the carrier’s international network to be served by the next-generation 787s. With frequencies also set to increase to five rotations per week, UK travellers to Vietnam can look forward to the airline’s latest in-flight facilities and on-board service as well as benefiting from increasingly flexible schedules.
