Hungerford is a handy hub for art and antiques fairs judging by two events held in the Berkshire town.
The well-dressed stall pictured below, with sunlight picking out the copper kettle and tall coffee pot, is the sort of attraction likely to tempt visitors to the Hungerford Antiques & Fleamarket, which runs three times monthly at the town hall. Organiser Kathy Coen said: “We have around 30 stalls on the Saturday and Sunday market with a footfall of more than 500. Our monthly Wednesday market is smaller with only 15 to 16 tables. However, it’s still a busy morning.”
The next dates for these events in the antiques-rich market town are Saturday, August 12, and Sunday, August 20, with the mid-week market held on the first Wednesday of each month.
