This Welsh Nantgarw porcelain dish forms part of the dinner-dessert service purchased by the Prince Regent in 1818 as a wedding gift to his younger brother Adolphus, the Duke of Cambridge.
Decorated with castle-landscapes, birds and fruit, the 9½in (24cm) wide piece is estimated at £2000-3000 in a sale of Welsh art and antiques at Rogers Jones & Co on October 20 in Cardiff.
