I had worked in kitchens before I came to Fort William. I wanted to improve my skills, so came to college. Studying 3 days a week really suits me because I can combine chef work at the Nevis Range and study. This has opened the door to industry for me. I would recommend the course: although you can learn while on the job, learning here in college with the class is so much better –as we all watch, learn and compare each other’s work all the time.
