Playpark campaign momentum grows

LOCHGILPHEAD from Bishop’s Seat, Community Council has been campaigning for improvements to the children’s play park on Lochgilphead front green.

A petition asking the local authority to act to improve the front green play area has been started and is available to sign at Lochgilphead shops D&D’s Clothing, Fyne Tackle and Argyll Book Centre, with well over 60 signatures collected so far. A further 180 sig natures were gained at the community council’s Lochgilphead Celtic and Pictish Festival on Saturday August 5.
