LOCHGILPHEAD Red Star 2004s have returned to form in March following a stutter in February. On Saturday March 4, the youngsters played a strong Drumchapel United at home in a league cup tie. In a competitive match, Red Star found themselves one-nil down at half time.
Whilst most of the second half remained close, the youngsters stepped up a gear and eventually ran out convincing winners with a 4-1 victory.
The following Saturday, March 11, the youngsters made the long trip to Clydebank to face Singer CFC. A dominant display resulted in a comfortable win for Red Star along with a welcome clean sheet. Over the next two weeks, Red Star 2004s are at home to Oban and Ardencaple.
