Gardens open for good causes

SOME of Mid Argyll’s most attractive private gardens were opened to the public last weekend.

In beautiful bloom and in lovely sunny weather last Saturday, the garden at Knock Cottage, Lochgair, was opened up for charity by new owners Hew and Barbara Service.

The following day, a garden opening was held at Ormsary, along with a veteran car display, plant sale, bluebell walks and homemade teas.
