THE LOSS of a baby, pre or postnatal, can have a devastating effect on parents and families.

One Scottish charity aims to offer support, through local groups, to anyone who has gone through the death of a baby at any stage of pregnancy or close to the time of birth.

As part of its work, Simpson’s Memory Box Appeal (SiMBA) organises a series of butterfly release events around the country, a touching way for parents to remember and honour their babies.
