A PROBLEM SHARED
Got a problem? Dr Ranj Singh is here to offer his advice
I had COVID earlier this year and I’m still not completely back to normal two months later. I used to go to the gym regularly, but now I can’t climb a flight of stairs without getting breathless. Could this be long COVID?

‘Long COVID’ is a term we use to describe ongoing symptoms some will experience after an initial COVID infection. Most people will be fully recovered within four weeks, but there is a significant proportion — of all ages — who continue to feel unwell. They can suffer from problems ranging from fatigue, breathlessness, pain and skin rashes, to mental health difficulties and brain fog.
