There won’t be a 2020 NFLPA Rookie Premiere.The COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty surrounding it has led to its cancellation. But that’s not stopping Panini from covering a lot of the same ground they would have at the event. It just means going about it differently. The first step of that is announcing the 2020 NFLPA Rookie Premiere Class, which they’ll be drawing out over the course of the week.
First up, as expected, were the quarterbacks - traditionally the biggest names when it comes to collecting. Leading the way was the first overall pick, Joe Burrow. The 2019 Heisman winner was joined by seven other quarterbacks include Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert and Jordan Love.
