What is a broken plan?
This when you have an open-plan layout that incorporates various means of division, such as concealed pocket doors, level changes and low walls, to help demarcate separate zones within the larger space. There has been a significant move away from large, expansive areas towards more articulated and compartmented spaces. Most of our clients are now looking for a sense of openness and connection between the rooms in their homes, but with more definition and consideration towards their different functions.
