A pair of older buildings have been harmoniously brought together in this project, designed by Marshall Carley
Architects. The brief was to update a disused structure so that it would form part of the main house. The architect and the interior designer, Ciel Interior Design, have turned the space into a chic, modern zone that’s perfect for entertaining guests.
Sieger Systems was chosen to supply a myriad of glazing products, including the thermally insulated, frameless glass link that connects the two buildings, creating a seamless flow. Natural light pours into the corridor from all angles, creating a bright and inviting space. To the side, a new flush glass door provides a secondary entry point to the house. It’s set against traditional brickwork for a striking contrast.
