A HIGHLAND cow wall hanging, handcrafted in Campbeltown from reclaimed whisky barrels, fetched the top price at an auction in aid of the Nancy Glen fund.
The sculpture, which took Wee Toon carver John Brown 35 hours to create, reached £450.
Measuring 36 inches from horn to horn, it is the largest sculpture of its kind that Mr Brown has made, and came to the auction in Campbeltown Town Hall with a starting bid of £380, having stirred up interest on Facebook.
