Music club pays tribute to Campbeltown member

FITTING tributes were paid at a concert in memory of a Campbeltonian who passed away suddenly last month.

David Douglas moved to Lochgilphead and for many years had played the temple blocks in Sanctuary, a band that had its beginnings at the Argyll and Bute Hospital.

The event on July 6, held in Lochgilphead Resource Centre by the music group The Easy Club, of which David was a member, was kicked off by some lively traditional tunes from the Dalriada Trio.
