Castlehill pupils join litter crusader to clean up Kintyre

A campaigner who is litter-picking his way around the UK coastline had a helping hand from some of Kintyre’s youngest waste workers recently.

As a reward, the Castlehill P6 pupils got to meet Wayne Dixon, 44, and his four year-old Northern Inuit husky Koda as they joined him to clear Trench Point beach last week.

Wayne, from Blackburn, is undertaking what he believes is the first attempt to bag litter from along the entire coast of the UK, in memory of his late father who passed away three years ago.
