CAMPBELTOWN fundraisers helped a building society reach its fundraising campaign’s £1million target in aid of Marie Curie.
Since the York-shire Building Society (YBS) launched its Hour of Need campaign in 2014 it has raised more than £1,021,030, as fundraisers take part in a variety of activities including riding 190km on exercise bikes, stepper machine challenges and setting a new world record for the largest cream tea party in multiple locations.
Stewart Balfour & Sutherland, the YBS’s agency in Campbeltown, has raised £312 of this total, funding 15 hours of Marie Curie care.
