Sir, Further to the Courier issue about litter on Friday April 14. I visited Campbeltown with my daughter for a short Easter holiday.
Generally on a beach I will pick up any rubbish. On Good Friday evening we went for a walk on the causeway to Davaar island.
Moments after leaving the road there was lots of blue plastic that turned out to be what I think are fishermen’s gloves. I picked up a discarded winkle bag and filled it with these gloves by the time we reached the island and due to the weight had to carry it over my shoulder.
