ADVENTUROUS students from Campbeltown Grammar School climbed Arran’s highest peak in training for the expedition aspect of their bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DOE) training.
Ten girls made the overseas trip last Friday and camped in Lochranza before climbing 2,866ft high Goatfell mountain, along with teachers Frank Chinn, Katherine Hardman and Matthew Osbourne, classroom assistant Jimmy McCallum, and DOE representative Matthew Newman on Saturday.
