Louise Redknapp plans to make up for lost time with “empowering” new music. The former Eternal star released comeback album Heavy Love in 2020 but its subsequent tour was scuppered by COVID. Now a follow-up is in the works and she revealed: “I’ve already started. Dare I say it, I think we have the first single – I’m going in strong. At the moment my phone is full of lyrics. Right now, with everything I write, I want it to be positive and empowering. I write all the time. If someone was to look at my [phone] notes they would probably worry about me, because of the things I’ve written down on there. The direction we want to go in is a step on from Heavy Love. Hopefully, if all goes according to plan, we could be gigging a lot.”
