Track who has opened your emails
Run a club or society? Here's how your tech can make it easier
When you send an email to multiple club members, it can be useful to see who has opened your message. This can give you a good idea how widely your email has been viewed and who you may need to follow up with – in case some members missed your original message.
Gmail and Outlook.com both support a feature called read receipts, which sends you a notification email when a recipient opens your message. However, you need to have a Google Workspace (paid-for) account to use read receipts in Gmail. Meanwhile, Outlook.com’s read receipt feature rarely seems to work as desired.
