Search with Perplexity, chat with Copilot
Mozilla is continuing to expand Firefox’s AI features, in a less intrusive way than in Edge and Brave. It has added the AI-powered ‘answer engine’ Perplexity to its choice of search providers, so you can get detailed and reliable responses to your queries.
To search with Perplexity, select that option in the ‘This time search with’ dropdown menu to the left of the browser’s address bar ( 1 in our screenshot below). Type a query and press Enter – or click an autocomplete suggestion – to load the Perplexity website and read its answer.
