Better the devil you know

As per tradition, you don’t have to hunt down and defeat every single boss in the game, but it’s a challenge a lot of players will find difficult to resist

There were dozens of characters you could meet (and easily miss), all of whom had individual arcs that could be pursued and, to varying degrees of satisfaction, resolved. Happily, Shadow Of The Erdtree introduces a new cast of strangers in the determined knight, the mute monk, the toadying salesman, the withered crone, the vacant mystic and more besides, each eager to guide or misguide you on your journey.
