Q: Can you tell us about your vision for WeAre.xyz, and what, do you feel, makes it special?
SD: In the third book of Cixin Liu’s dramatised ‘The Three Body Problem’ (currently a smash hit on Netflix), mankind makes an archive of the solar system by carving their history into the bedrock of Pluto. They think this provides the greatest chance of it surviving; they were wrong.
WeAre.xyz’s mission is to maximise the probability of our own family histories surviving and thriving for generations to come – even if living relatives are largely indifferent. We achieve this by putting family members at the centre of a highly personalised experience. Let me explain:
1.Firstly, WeAre.xyz is a true family-wide archive; if any family member logs in, they see all the trees, articles, documents, etc, centred on them.
