NEAVE TWIN RACING
Elbows out…
It’s been a good month on and off track, with a hell of a lot of highlights. Let’s kick things off with Donington BSB, which saw rain, shine and ballistic pace in every class. It was a school day for us all because it was the first time BSB had run in recent times on the smaller, National circuit. Personally, I like it, so I clicked with it pretty early on and found myself a regular in the top 10 during practice and qually. That was a relief because I had my Uncle Tim with me and he threatens to disown me if I’m going too steady. As ever, my team was mega, getting stuck in and doing a top job of making me and the bike as quick as possible. The Blade’s starting to feel like it’s my own bike now and I reckon that showed in the big double stint race, where I crossed the line sixth in both halves. The Sunday race was wetter than an otter’s pocket and I didn’t have any grip, so thirteenth was the best I could muster, but it meant points all the same. I’m seventh in the championship, so I can’t complain too much.
