THE TIM AND TOM SHOW NEAVE TWIN RACING
After a mega test at Cadwell Park earlier in the year I had a really good feeling about my home round of the Superstock 1000 Championship; I felt really strong all weekend and I think my results showed how confident I was. Despite slotting a time in good enough for second place (the session was red flagged a few seconds before I crossed the line), I qualified fourth for the race, but I was still pretty happy with that as I knew I was still in with a chance of a good finish from there. I was consistently fast all weekend, and although I didn’t quite match the time I’d done in testing I finished the race in third, which was ace. I had a really good race with Taylor Mackenzie and I was all over him in the tight stuff, but his Beemer has got some real pace so I wasn’t quite able to put a pass on him. But it’s such a good feeling to be stood on the podium, and it gave me loads of confidence going into the next round at Oulton Park.
