Audio Random Access (ARA) and Extensions
>Audio Random Access (ARA) was designed for plugins to use audio events in a DAW independently (or in parallel) to its channel signal flow and to access a large chunk of audio, and manipulating it, without having to play it all through a plugin or recording it elsewhere first. This may seem a little bit niche, but i was developed as a way of integrating Celemony’s Melodyne audio editor/corrector software more fully into the Studio One DAW workflow.
