A full house attended the LGBT Carol Service on December 9, with a warm welcome from the Unitarian Church. The Dublin Gay Men’s Chorus were in fine voice after their own Christmas Concert in Christ Church Cathedral the evening before.
Former RTÉ newsreader, Michael Murphy was the guest speaker and held the congregation enthralled with some of his poems. Representatives from Out and About, TENI and OWLs participated in the readings too.
The collection for Brother Kevin Capuchin Day Centre for the Homeless came to €1,478. Mulled wine was enjoyed after the service, courtesy of The George. The date for your diary for the 20th year of the LGBT Christmas Carol Service Saturday, December 8, 2018!
