The royal couple carried out a whistlestop three-day tour of Canada last week, crossing the Atlantic on behalf of the Queen to mark her Platinum Jubilee. It was Prince Charles’s 19th trip to the country, one of the most important realms in the Commonwealth, and he and his wife travelled more than 2,000 miles across the nation, from St John’s in Newfoundland and Labrador to the nation’s capital, Ottawa, and on to Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories, clocking up more than 20 engagements and sampling the culture, crafts and community spirit of Canadians along the way…
