David Gandy is a man who prioritises wellbeing. Whether he’s waking up early to take his dog Dora on a long walk or mulling over new plans for David Gandy Wellwear, his lifestyle brand, it’s always at the front of his mind.
But you won’t find any unrealistic celebrity tips here. From taking an easy-to-remember multi-vitamin to training at home and swapping his afternoon coffee for a cup of tea, his routine can easily be incorporated in your day-to-day.
Here, the model, 44, talks building fairy dens with his two young daughters and his advice for keeping your fitness resolutions past January.
David, tell us about your morning routine…
“I do the school run most mornings, so it’s an early start with the usual parental nightmare of getting everyone dressed, fed and out of the door on time.
“After drop-off, I walk my dog Dora in Richmond Park – this is my time for organising my thoughts ahead of a day of meetings. I know that not everyone is able to incorporate a walk in their busy morning schedule, but even if you just get offthe Tube a stop earlier, the difference it can make to your mindset is huge.
