Like many Scottish family historians, I was looking forward to the release of the 1921 Scottish census. In particular my interest was occupations: looking at who my ancestors were working for and where they were living. 1921 was the first census that would feature all four of my grandparents, three of whom were of working age. In addition, several of my great-grandparents and great-great grandparents were still alive.
