Dear Valued Reader

Ken McDonald, Managing Editor

A very warm welcome to our iScot issue 69 filled with a cornucopia of cracking articles, from dugs to bugs to virtual hugs from our resident sheep, Ghini. It’s a challenging time to get anything in print these days given furlough and the inability for many to trade causing problems for printers.

Our front cover features our resident artist Mo’s grandson, picking up a rugby ball and running with it. I wanted to highlight the changes that I feel are happening in Scotland today with a high percentage of our younger generation embracing the growing possibility of Independence for Scotland. They understand that Independence is normal, and it looks like the youngsters will be turning out in force to help Scotland remedy the 2014 referendum result. I’ve coined the phrase #GenerationExbrit to include all independence supporters that want to see Scotland become independent again. So let’s grab that indy ball and run with it - we are, after all, collectively our own salvation.
