ALL amateur clubs in England can expect to hear shortly from the Rugby Football League – and some will already have done so – as the sport’s governing body sets about helping grassroots outfits recover from the financial impact of the Covid-19 lockdowns.
Some 300 will, until March 2022, be able to access a £1.45 million grant fund (the RFL Community Club Fund) aimed at enabling them to not only recoup revenue lost during the pandemic, but to rebuild for the future. The RFL is, in addition to contacting clubs direct, hosting a Club Webinar on Thursday.
