THE Women’s Amateur Rugby League Association’s double-header finals day takes place on its traditional Easter Sunday slot – and at its long-term home of the Millennium Stadium, Featherstone.
WARLA bosses are, this year, taking the opportunity to present the Division One and Two championship trophies, together with players’ medals, during the interlude between the Challenge Cup and Plate finals.
Fryston Warriors and Wigan St Judes will be the respective recipients, while Judes will also be aiming to secure the Challenge Cup by accounting for Batley in only their second season in the WARLA competition. Neither side have lifted the prestigious trophy before.
