SWINTON LIONS halfback Dec Patton says his close-season trans-Pennine switch from Bradford has rekindled his enjoyment of the game.
The 28-year-old, who played in two Super League Grand Finals and won the Challenge Cup during his seven years at Warrington, says that after his Bulls contract was up, he was close to calling time on a career that has also taken in a spell at Salford.
But after a change of heart, and a phone call from Swinton coach Alan Kilshaw, he signed upand hasn't regretted his decision.
