Get your hands on Windows Community Preview.
M icrosoft’s Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) is a compatibility layer that enables developers to run a Linux environment (with command-line tools, applications and more) directly from within Windows 10 or Windows server, without having to dual-boot or run a virtual machine. It’s been warmly embraced by the community as well, and Canonical has recently announced the availability of the Ubuntu on Windows Community Preview.
