“The Bachefs developer got into such a state of argument on the LKML, as to effectively vote himself off the island. Matthew “Willy” Wilcox noted that the maintainers should consider things from the dev’s point of view: “He’s worked for years on bcachefs. Now he’s asking “What needs to happen to get this merged?” And instead of getting a clear answer as to the technical pieces… various people are taking the opportunity to tell him he’s a Bad Person”.
