If you’re in a noisy place, you can improve your Shazamming chances by holding your phone closer to the speakers that are playing the song.
We love Shazam almost as much as pub quizmasters hate it; it can automagically tell you what song is playing after listening to just a few seconds of it. That makes it a menace if your rival quiz team is using it to cheat during a music round, but it’s helped us discover and fall in love with some of our favourite artists. If you can hear it clearly, Shazam can usually tell you exactly what it is.
