Announced at last year’s Warley show, the PCA bulk powder tank provides modellers with an essential wagon type. The first examples were introduced in the late 1970s, with several more batches built during the 1980s, with the design optimised for the transit of cement and various chemicals. The design was a success, with the cement-carrying versions enjoying an especially distinguished career, as the last examples have been withdrawn only recently.
