Japan’s original construction boom coincided with the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Today, more than 50 years on and with the Olympics having recently returned to the capital city, Japan is amidst a new building revolution, using smart technologies to take its infrastructure into the future in a way that caters for changing societal and environmental challenges.
