Why have you chosen to take on this particular challenge?
I wanted to do something that symbolised my dad’s determination and stubbornness and that incorporated our home on the Isle of Wight. I am going to be taking on a unique triathlon (one that I just made up), to raise awareness of my dad’s lifelimiting condition, progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP). I’m going to be aiming to swim 96km around the Isle of Wight (a feat completed by just 5 people to date), then cycle around it (93km) and then run across it (42km – distance of a marathon).
