OPEN WATER NEWS ROUND-UP

ART OF SWIMMING

By Ruby Brown

I am 15 years old and the founder of Murray Prints. Our paintings are inspired by the beauty that the sea holds. With original, unique, paintings of different sizes and colours, we hope to raise money for ‘The Wave Project’ - a charity that enables young people from all around England with poor mental health issues to grasp an escapism and establish enjoyment from doing something a bit unusual to the norm. The paintings initially started off as a project over lockdown and gave me an opportunity to bond with my mum over something we both love. It hopefully help others and provides joy to people in these current circumstances. Our slogan ‘I love you to the sea and back’ comes from the saying we use in our household ‘I love you to the Co-op and back’.
