I’ve got to say that I was markedly disappointed when this month’s review of BrokenRoadscame in. This is a game that I know many PC gamers have been looking forward to for a long time, with its unique Australian take on a Fallout-style post-apocalypse RPG really capturing the attention. So when I read the review to discover that it had serious shortcomings, my heart sank. As our review shows, it’s not awful, and it does offer strong writing along with a unique morality system that feels fresh, but these are not enough to make it an easy recomendation. Maybe with a few patches that can change. I feel it’s a reminder to try not to get too invested in games before they launch, no matter how much personal affection you have for a particular genre. ents or
