Brownber Hall, near Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria, is Grade II listed, was built in approximately 1840 and is set in two acres of gardens. It had been a care home and then a guest house before Amanda and Peter took it on in 2016. The couple briefly ran it as a hotel before switching to selfcatering as a result of the pandemic
