As in the original Dying Light, gameplay is designed around the player’s freedom to jump and run around The City. You can employ items in the environment to aid your movement, for example using a rope pulley to zip rapidly up the side of a building. Aiden can run and slide under obstacles – the slow-mo enabling you to hurl a knife or boomerang as you do so – and you can think on your feet, such as using an Infected to break Aiden’s fall from a height.
